For those interested in learning to write Arabic properly I've found this Dars from an Arabic forum which I've reformatted for Qays.org. It teaches the basics of the sophisticatedly utilitarian Ruq'ah script or khat (خط). I have the intention of perhaps translating it sometime (make dua on that one):
