Split Files

Due to a limitation with my hosting account I may only upload files with a maximum file size of 2 megabytes using my CMS. That means that for me to make files larger than that available I will have to split them. For this job I'll be using 7-zip which is free open source software, and highly effective. Here are some simple instructions to get things going smoothly.

To install is program simply download it, double click it and follow the instructions. Once it is installed execute it (start it up) and click on Tools > Options:

Then click “Select All” then “Apply” then “Ok”:

This will ensure that Windows associates 7-Zip with your archives. If there are particular file types you'd like to have handled by other programs you may uncheck them.
